Susan Abbott, President of Abbott Research + Consulting, is a researcher with a passion for customer insights that power new ideas. She has an MBA from Ivey, and holds the CMRP research designation. She is a director of QRCA, the organization for qualitative research, and the co-founder of Think Global Qualitative, a global alliance of master qualitative researchers.

Before founding Abbott Research + Consulting in 2001, Susan was a vice-president of TD Bank Financial Group where she held diverse general management positions. She has an MBA from Ivey, and holds the CMRP research designation. She is an elected director of QRCA, the global organization for qualitative research. Susan recently launched Think Global Qualitative, a global alliance of master qualitative researchers, to provide local boutique support for global projects.

Susan Abbott is a qualitative researcher with a passion for customer insights that bring new ideas to life.
Before founding Abbott Research + Consulting in 2001, Susan was a vice-president of TD Bank Financial Group where she held diverse general management positions. She has an MBA from Ivey, and holds the CMRP research designation. She also has advanced training in the Creative Problem Solving process, and is qualified in Myers-Briggs Personality Type.
Susan authored The Innovative Organization, a book published by Schulich Executive Education, which was based on qualitative research with more than 120 executives, and formed the core of SEEC’s Innovation program.
Considered a leader by her peers, Susan has twice been elected to the board of QRCA, the global organization for qualitative research.
Susan is a frequent speaker at professional and business conferences on topics related to qualitative insights, innovation, and customer experience. She publishes theIdeaStudio content site, and tweets as @susanabbott. Not a terribly innovative handle, but pragmatic.
Susan is the co-founder of Think Global Qualitative, a global alliance of master qualitative researchers, formed to provide local boutique-style support for global qualitative projects.
When not working, she likes to paddle and paint outdoors, ride a Vespa (but only in the good weather), and pick up sparkly ideas.
