I've got the obsolete software blues... A few years ago, when my Handspring Visor was shiny, new and orange, I bought a small bit of software called I-Data Pro. It is a lightning fast, easily configurable and searchable database builder. I use it as a contact manager, but it also has indexes for my filing, software, and restaurants I like. It had conduits for Palm, so I could take it anywhere.
The killer app, however, which I cannot live without, is it's one click label printing. That application alone has been unbelievably useful over the years.
I now have a shiny new Palm TX. It will not let me load i-Data Pro.
It says the files are incompatible. So I can't take my restaurant
database everywhere I go. ARGHHH!
I went looking for a possible upgrade ... but they only make the new i-Data for Mac. I briefly considered getting Outlook to print my labels, but a quick check of the help instructions ended that fantasy. [a mere 21 steps]
Anyone using a nice simple database program that works well with a Palm??? Ideas?
