My new holiday tradition is to go skiing over Christmas. It's based on the belief that you can handle the cold in one of two ways -- run away or embrace it. So we bundle up and go have fun in a resort and try not to think about the cost of lift tickets or the environmental impact.
From a customer perspective, skiing at Christmas everyone is on their best behavior, there are smiles all around, and there's a good chance of seeing Santa on the slopes.
Before I head off for a wee holiday, I want to thank you so much for reading. And special thanks to those who take the time to post a comment!
I hope to bring you the very best in blog posts in the year ahead. Plus a hundred or so other resolutions... but I'm sure you have resolutions of your own.
Wishing you the best of the season, whatever you celebrate and wherever you celebrate it.See you in the new decade!- Susan
[PS - yeah, yeah -- there's no year zero, so the new decade doesn't start for a year. Seriously, like you were there in year 1? I thought so. Now go get an adult beverage and try to have some fun.]
